A few weeks ago I had a small bump form in my upper right gum above my 4th tooth. It has been hard to the touch and only hurts when pushed on. My teeth do not hurt when I touch or press on this. Sometime in the last 2 days the bump has since moved down to the gum line and now has a yellow/white color, it almost looks like a new tooth is pushing through the skin.
What could this be and should I be going to the emergency dentist, waiting until I can get an appointment at my primary, or is this a non-issue? Thank you!
