Hey all, going to my first ever F1 race in November and I’d love some input from anyone who’s done Vegas before (or other races where ticket prices fluctuate).
Flight and hotel are booked, so I’m locked in for the trip. Now I just need to figure out the ticket strategy.
Looking at:
• Race day Saturday for sure, qualifying Friday possibly
• Flamingo GA, T-Mobile GA, or potentially Heineken/West Harmon grandstand if prices work
The real question is timing. AmEx presale is May 5, public sale is May 7. Part of me wants to lock in a 3-day pass immediately and not stress about it. But I keep hearing stories about prices dropping closer to the race on resale.
For those who’ve gone before:
- Did you save money waiting, or did you regret not buying earlier?
- Is T-Mobile GA worth the upgrade over Flamingo?
- Anyone done West Harmon or Heineken Grandstand and have thoughts on the views?
- With 2025 selling out, am I crazy to think I can find cheaper tickets in October/November?
Appreciate any wisdom. Don’t want to overpay but also don’t want to be the guy who books the trip and can’t get into the race.
