7512i, bought used from ebay a few years ago.

Whenever the machine loses power, it gives an error: "Not original Top Module", and sets the cassette configuration to something else. This results in customers getting wrong change, and me getting angry phone calls until I come fix the cassette code.

Is there a way to fix this, or do I just have a unit with a bad memory chip or something?
