I’ve been experimenting with using AI (ChatGPT etc.) for trading over the past few weeks, but not in the usual “give me signals” way.
What actually started working for me was using structured prompts to force better decision-making.
Instead of asking:
“Is this a good trade?”
I now run something like:
Trend analysis (HTF + LTF)
Key levels
Risk/reward
Invalidation point
Reasons not to take the trade
What changed for me:
I take fewer trades
I avoid a lot of impulsive entries
My trades feel way more “planned” instead of random
It’s not like winrate suddenly exploded, but consistency improved, which honestly matters more.
Curious if anyone else is using AI like this instead of signals?
