Ebay authenticator strikes again(maybe). Help.

So, I recently purchaned a Luther burden kaboom on eBay. Was originally only a couple of photos in the listing. After contacting the seller, they uploaded a ton of extra photos to the listing. Card seemed to be in perfect shape with no visible damage to be seen. Upon receiving the card after the authentication process, there was damage to a corner. Contacted seller and they said to start a return through eBay, which they would approve and assumed eBay would make it right. After being reviewed eBay denied the return, saying that PSA inspected the card and deemed it near mint or better. Tried to argue that while near mint fits, it doesn't fit the original listing, to no avail. Ebays answer was to sell the card again, hiding the damage, and pass it along to the next person(unreal!) or see if the seller would offer a refund. Ebay essentially just protecting the authenticator in this whole process which it seems happens a lot. Anyone run into this issue? Were you just stuck with the card? The only one odd spot in this is that the seller took clear photos of all the corners but the one with damage was slightly blurry in the original listing. It doesn't really seem like there's any damage to that corner though.
