My baby girl is four months old and weighed 5.9kg today which is around the 22nd percentile. She was just under the 50th percentile when born. The health visitor wasn’t concerned at all by this and said as long as she’s eating/peeing/pooping well then she’s perfectly healthy. But I’m finding it hard not to worry about it as it seems like a big jump. Me and her dad are both very lean and I always was one of the smallest kids in the class so it could easily be genetics. I just thought, she would have always been smaller if that was the case. Anyone else’s babies have dips like this? Do I just need to forget what percentile she is?
