4 year old visual disturbances

Hello, my 4 year old daughter has been experiencing visual disturbances for a few months now. She says that at multiple times a day “everything is dancing” she describes it as things moving very fast back and forth side to side sometimes they also move slow. Her eye exams have been normal. I took her to neurology and they ordered her a brain MRI and Eeg. Mri is in 11 days eeg is over a month from now. Her neurologist states that her neuro exam was good. We have a history of benign brain tumors in our family that cause hydrocephalus and sudden death among a sleuth of other issues. I myself had a colloid cyst removed in the 3rd ventricle of my brain. She also seems to have a low appetite, defiant/distributive behavior, staring spells, increased fatigue, non frequent headaches. Im really scared something is very wrong. Waiting for her MRI is torture but they are telling me they have no other sooner appointments because she needs sedated. Of course my brain keeps going to that worrisome place of worst case scenario like brain cancer. Please help, any insight is helpful. I am not sure if she could be making all of this up or not and idk if i should proceed with sedating her for a scan because that has risks as well! Thank you
