I knew I had a spiky profile, but the sheer discrepancy still surprised me.
I’m autistic, and I’m currently being assessed for ADHD so I suspect attention regulation may have affected some parts of these results in WMI.
What shocked me is the discrepancy within working memory itself.
Digit Letter Sequencing and Digit Span Forward were very far apart. The tests were not all taken in one session and during the session with digit span forward and backward I felt unusually cognitively off, I couldn’t genuinely hold any information. I probably couldn’t remember my name if you would’ve asked me that in that session 💀
I think it would be interesting to see whether the result changes under my native language and potentially ADHD medication if I end up receiving that diagnosis.
One thing I find confusing is that I remember a phone number after looking at it once, but that ability did not seem to translate to any of these subtests lol.
Also worth noting: I had to answer the door during the arithmetic subtest and couldn’t continue the rest of that subtest.
