after my first UTI back in 2024 i went to the gyno, we did a standard swab test and streptococcus agalactie (GBS) came back. the gyno (who mistreated me 3 times, causing the reoccouring UTIs) said that GBS is only problematic for pregnant individuals. but now ive been thinking, that maybe it does contribute to me being prone to UTIs caused by E.coli. im not really sure what to do because i finally broke free from antibiotics thanks to Uro-vaxom, been using probiotic suppositories as a therapy for 2 years almost.
now im hoping things will change because i was finally able to get a probiotic containing Lactobacillus crispatus (in the EU almost no probiotic contains this strain, i could ask a friend to ship it from the USA). im really hoping it will help. my vaginal flora is okay ish, but it still gets irritated after intercourse (when i dont have sex im completely okay) and im basically hopeless. i truly dont think ill reach the stage where i wont have to use probiotics everytime ive had intercourse, like before the UTIs started.
has anyone had any luck with any other therapies? im 20, no sign of hormonal issues, not taking hormonal birth control. so i think topical estrogen shots to repair my vaginal wall isnt an option.
