So I got my first rifle-sized Nerf blaster secondhand. I needed some advices from actual firearm owners (or Nerf owners who also own an actual firearm) over at the States.

I wanted to display my Nerf blasters in the same way an actual firearm is displayed. What I'm looking for is this:

- Rifles are mounted vertically; idk if it should be muzzle down or up

- The blasters are gonna be placed on pegboard hooks, which are mounted on modular cat cages (like the one I placed the blaster against) acting as the pegboard itself. Each segment costs like $0.50 (in USD value) where I live & is 35x35cm.

- Mags (clips) are probably gonna be kept separate from the blaster.

- I'm looking at probably 4 more of the medium-to-large blasters when planning out the size of this 'pegboard'.

- Further down the line I'm considering making a hole in the wall & turn it into a recessed blaster case with blue lighting that will fit the Elite 2.0s I will purchase later.

- This Phase 2 Nerf armory will also include battery chargers as I swap the single-use C batteries for either rechargeable C batteries or I convert my CS-18 to LiPo power.

Based on actual firearm disciplines, what should I know when storing Nerf blasters the same way an actual one should be?
