So I live somewhere between Milwaukee and Chicago in the American Midwest and I was wondering if anyone knew of any safe groups I could potentially meet with in that general area. Like I'm introverted and neurodivergent, I struggle with online groups; for example, I'm a member of the Hellenion discord and I feel no strong connections to anyone there. I'm an anthropology major as well, which has made me realize I do actually need some form of community, especially to have emotional support when dealing with my extended family (who would probably stage an intervention if they knew I wasn't x-tian. They already have an issue with me not going to church). My lineal family, specifically my mother, has no issues with it, btw. I know there's groups that are "accepting of everyone" but, I think it would be nice to find somewhere that has more Hellenic reconstructionists for community. Any advice would be appreciated...
