Hi guys. I’m applying for a study permit extension and I’m wondering if I need to apply for a co-op work permit too? I heard there has been a change to that?

I’m a 3rd year Accounting student with 11 courses to go. I’m planning on taking 4 courses in summer, 2 courses in Fall (since I’ll be doing my last co-op work term then), and finally 5 courses in Winter of 2027. I’m worried that there might be conflicts in schedules especially for Accounting courses, and I might be delayed until Fall 2027. Has anyone tried doing this, is it possible or I should be prepared to be in school until end of next year🥲
