Hello! I (30F) live with my boyfriend (28M) in Florida. I pay all of my own bills and we have no joint bank accounts. The only thing we share is our lease for our apartment. All of the other bills are in my name (electric, internet, pet insurance). I pay everything out of my account, he sends me the money to cover his half of these expenses. He purchases his own groceries (he is on a strict dietary regiment) and all of our finances are 100% separate. He makes more money than I do and does not depend on me in any way.
I recently had a consultation for Ch. 7 and the attorney on the phone said that I would have to include his income to see if I qualify. He said we would have to make less than 43K over the last 6 months in order for me to qualify. This seemed wrong to me but I didn't want to question an attorney because I obviously don't know as well as they would.

For household purposes, since I fully support myself, would I just list me or are they gonna take my boyfriend into account as well?

*Edit: just saw i misspelled attorney in my title fml
