This is a short two parter:

1. With people who may have similar diagnoses to me (AMSAN/CRPS II) what medications have helped you the most and what are you prescribed?

2. For those of you that have a Mom and pop shop type Pharmacy how did you find it? I called CVS last night at 7 to make sure my meds arrived and could be filled… today… new pharmacist saying they are out of stock. And you call to any different pharmacy and they refuse to tell you about stock. How do you handle these situations.

I got a new pain mgmt doctor because mine left for a clinic in SM. He’s considered one of the best in the business when it comes to CRPS and ketamine treatment. I’m so excited to try but I have to wean off my clonazepam or it won’t work. I’m getting my first nerve block in June and I’m excited for hopefully being out of this pain because the meds that I am on are basically the upper limit of where he’s comfortable and I’m still hovering between that 6-7 mark 8-9 when my main med is on back order. But I’m worried during a long wean he might wean my pain meds too quick at the same time.

In the long run I’m kind of excited to not be dependent physically on anything. Even though opioid medication is all that’s helped so far I’m willing to try anything at this point if it means the fire in my foot goes out and the floor goblins stop stabbing me in the feet.
