Hi everyone,

I’m confused between preparing for the GRE vs GMAT and would really appreciate some honest advice based on my cold mock performance.

I recently gave diagnostic mocks for both exams without any preparation and have attached my scorecards/screenshots. Based on these scores, which exam do you think suits me better naturally?

A little about my profile:

- 24F

- Assistant Manager (Audit Senior) at Deloitte USI (Got an accelerated promotion and 4 awards in my tenure here).

- ~3.5 years of work experience

- B.Com (Hons.) from St. Xavier's College Kolkata

- Academics: 95% / 93% / 78%

- Target schools: primarily Indian School of Business (ISB), but open to other good Indian/global B-schools too

My questions:

  1. Based on my cold mock scores, which exam seems more suitable for me — GRE or GMAT?

  2. If my target is ISB, does one exam have an advantage over the other? and what scores should I aim for?

  3. What are the major pros/cons of GRE vs GMAT for MBA admissions and placements?

  4. Realistically, what colleges/schools should I target if I improve well from here?

  5. Also, how feasible is it to move from my current mock performance to a competitive score in ~2–3 months with disciplined prep?

Would love brutally honest advice, especially from people who switched between the two exams or got into ISB with a similar profile. Thanks!

Hi guys

I'm a working professional and can spend 2 hrs on weekdays and more on weekends - how should I go about it from here? Any tips would be helpful.

I skipped a couple of questions in DI because of time crunch, I think I could've done better there.

I am trying to give my first baseline mock from mba.com but as soon as I click on gmat starter pack, I get this screen and am unable to access the mock test. It happened a couple of times, even tried to refresh it. Have these been removed? Any solutions/suggestions?
