It's getting pretty comical tbh especially the fact that the only one picking up on it (Max) is keeping his mouth shut for funsies. But honestly I don't mind the misunderstandings trope. If they're all resolved openly at some point its all worth it. I just need to know, without spoilers, is there a damn good reason his daughter thinks he hates her?? Cuz imma be pissed if its never addressed or just retconned in the name of isekai/regression. And it better not be some stupid 💩 like he has a naturally angry face.
