I'm looking to have a GM host an in-person one-shot as a surprise for my partner and their gaming group. One of them always has to GM, so they never get to fully play together. I am open to several different RPGs, but I know that he is particularly interested in Draw Steel, 13th Age, or Lancer.
Is anyone in the Chicago suburbs and open to such a thing mid-August?

I'm looking to have a GM host an in-person one-shot as a surprise for my partner and their gaming group. One of them always has to GM, so they never get to fully play together. I am open to several different RPGs, but I hesitate to list them here (as my partner is pretty keen to these things and may see the post/figure out what I'm up to). None of the games I have in mind appear on the LFG Tag list, if that helps. I'm happy to be more specific in response to chats.
