So I know for abilities in the battle phase that are queued in "When this unit attacks" has priority over guarding because some attack abilities have guard restrictions hence the priority to reassure. But how about state abilities, because Im confused, "Gaia Devastate" has an ability to retire any 2 circles on the field as long as theyre not the Vanguard circles, so I ask, does "When this unit is engorged" ability state change have less priority than guarding? Or does have priority over guard phase
