Nose, tooth and gum pressure
Two months ago, one evening I felt a sensation in my tooth as if someone was pulling on it. The next day or over the following days, I started feeling pressure in my nose and sinuses. I went to a doctor, and he took an X-ray of my sinuses. There was nothing there. I waited a few weeks and then went back, and he said it was clearly a sinus infection and prescribed antibiotics. They didn’t help, so I went to a specialist who said it was not a sinus infection. I also went to the dentist, and they think it is caused by teeth grinding and tension in the facial muscles. Can that really cause such a strong feeling of pressure? I got a night guard, and hopefully this will stop someday.
