Hi everyone,
I wanted some advice for med school applications. I have an under grad GPA of 3.4, 300 medical assistant hours, 80 hours of volunteering, and 2 hours of virtual shadowing (I’m struggling to find in person shadowing opportunities). I know I have to build my profile so I’m doing a DIY Post bacc for Org1&2, Phys-&2, bio2 , biochem. I’m aiming to get A’s in these courses. I however also want to do a masters degree to really strengthen my academic skills and knowledge. However, I have the opportunities to Masters in biomedical sciences or Masters in Occupational therapy. The perks of biomedical sciences is that I’ll get to take med school classes and strengthen my skills, and with occupational therapy I get to learn about the rehab side of the world and I enjoyed volunteering in OT and knew that it’d be amazing perspective to have as a physician. I have to decide and I’m stressed. Please any advice?
