My 2003 Buick Lasabre randomly shuts off if it doesn't run for about 15 minutes before I drive it. It is a little scary and making me pretty uncomfortable. I drove my buddy to taco bell after only letting it run for a few minutes and I got to a stop sign and it shut off. Then I turned it over 3 times and nothing. My buddy showed me i gotta mash the gas a few times after it starts to get it going again. But I dont want to be on the highway or something and something like this happen or be heading to work. I was told its most likely the fuel filter from a mechanic but right now im asking reddit because id like to solve the issue as soon as possible and would like to know about everyone's personal experiences if they have any and any and all possible solutions I need to get this fixed.
