I'm new to cycling and looking for advice choosing between two road bikes. I was originally looking at the Trek Domane, which I took for a test spin and liked, but went to a different bike shop and where they recommended I try a Liv bike. I found the Liv more comfortable, but I'm feeling really indecisive about choosing between the Liv Avail AR 1 and Live Avail AR 3.

I understand the components of the AR1 are nicer and it is 12-speed vs 9-speed, but how different will the cycling experience be between the two?

This is a big investment for me and $700+ is a big price difference so I'm really wondering if it's truly worth it.
