M22—there’s this group of girls I met in college—just as friends, obviously—and I started messaging one of the four a bit more. She’s been ignoring my messages for 24 hours now—specifically, one message and a follow-up 10 hours later. It’s all about teaching stuff.

Ghosting doesn’t bother me at all, but I’ve been through this before and it pisses me off that some random girl is trying to pull the same stunt. I thought she was really nice, but I think I need to avoid her

M22 - I know there are objective quality markers like skull development, facial hair, clear skin, body fat %, height, posture, etc. Even when it comes to non-physical things like job, driver's license and social internet presence, I'm not doing badly compared to the average guy my age. So where's the problem?

Even a very ugly girl expects a model to approach her or DM her. Just imagine how much disgust she feels toward guys who are on her level. How am I supposed to understand what I can realistically aim for in a potential relationship/girl?

In the last 3 years, only 3 girls have shown me (more or less explicit) interest, all very ugly. So effectively, it's as if nobody has shown any interest. Two of them were also in relationships, meaning they wanted to cheat with someone better-looking than both their boyfriend and themselves.

As long as you're not desperate, you don't even want to be seen with a ugly girl because it ruins you. I look at my desperate acquaintances and I don't understand how they can lower themselves like that just for a hole, but they actually want those girls.

Given what I said earlier girls expect to be approached and the more decent-looking they are, the more "trained" they are not to expose themselves socially, so why have only very ugly girls given me signals of interest? Does that mean I'm ugly?
