Labia plasty wound separation
Hi everyone. Tomorrow will be 2 weeks since my labiaplasty and labia majora filler. I developed a hematoma on the first day after surgery, and my left side had to be re-stitched twice. Recovery has honestly been very difficult, both physically and mentally.
I had severe swelling, and I used dexamethasone injections around 5 times after surgery because it was the only thing that reduced the swelling even a little and made me feel human again. The last 2 days were finally a bit easier compared to the first week.
But now I’m noticing a small wound separation/opening, and I’m terrified of needing stitches again, getting an infection, or not healing properly. I genuinely feel like I’m losing my mind from stress and fear.
Has anyone experienced wound separation after labiaplasty or after a difficult recovery? Did it heal on its own? I really need reassurance or honest experiences right now.
