Heads Up, I only wrote the characters that exist in this fictional continent called "Calradia" It's all a work of "TaleWorlds" and it was used in their game series called "Mount & Blade". I am only adding my fan made characters into the continent and kingdoms they made up. This is also a second version of something I wrote a long time ago but I scratched that idea and now I'm writing this one. Hold on tight for the "Tale of Count Kalenz".
Count Kalenz, was born into a wealthy family. His father had owned many businesses all across Calradia and was a succesful businessman. Kalenz's mother was a peasant coming from the lower classes but she played a vital role in Kalenz's character developement in his early days. Kalenz was so different from other kids his age. He was smart and respected by his friends because of his leadership skills. Other kids saw him as a natural leader because of the things he had accomplished even at his young age. Kalenz was a big fan of Calradian history and had love for chemistry. He would get goosebumps just by reading the things Kingdom of Swadia had achieved back in their early days. Because Kalenz was a noble he wanted to be a War Lord unlike their ancestors who were mere merchants. This made his father really upset and he would punish and beat Kalenz so harshly but even after doing all of it, he could not break his spirit and he still wanted to be a War Lord no matter what happens to him. Kalenz's father could not handle all of this and passed away due to a heart attack. Kalenz had no feelings left for his father but he was also devastated after hearing this since he was still a young child. Kalenz's mother took control of all their businesses but because she had zero experience,the business empire his ancestors had built had gone bankrupt in the matter of months and they had to sell everything they had just to survive. A long time has passed after Kalenz's father had left this world. He was now a teen and was working hard to support his mother who he loved very dearly. Kalenz's family was not really liked by other people, they only bought loyalty because they were so rich. Now they were at the lowest point in their lives and no one wanted to help them. They were once a very noble and wealthy family now they were just barely hold on and living in a small house in a small village. His mother tried her best just to protect her only child but this has taken a huge toll on her and she fell ill. Kalenz was not able to find a cure for her and she passed away peacefully holding the hand of her only child. Kalenz was now all alone in this harsh world. The villagers had prepared a funeral but almost nobody joined, they still hated his family because of things he did not commit. Kalenz was hungry and alone in the streets. No one dared help him except for the villages elder. Who sheltered Kalenz and started raising him as if he was his own son. He understood Kalenz, he went through the same things Kalenz had went through and even worse, he had lost his both sons in the war against the Rhodoks. Kalenz finally felt loved after his mothers passing.
Kalenz was now an adult, still living under the villages elder roof and he still wanted to achieve the goal of becoming a War Lord. But something big had happened the night before he was going to leave to enlist in the Kings army. Kalenz's village was raided by the Rhodok's who clearly wanted another war after losing land to the Swadians. Kalenz tried to stay and fight but after he took a spiked bat in the head, he fainted and fell down, the raiders thought they had killed everyone but they were mistaken. Kalenz was alive, and he wanted nothing but revenge. He swore on his life that he was going to find who caused all of his friends and loved ones to be killed, and serve justice. He took the only boat they had left in the shipyard and sailed to the Swadian Kingdom's capital city Praven. He told about this to the King and so began another war between Rhodok and Swadia.
