I’m about to take delivery of my Tata Punch and want to install a dual-channel dashcam (front + rear). I’ve narrowed it down to:
- 70mai A500S Pro Plus+ Dual
- Qubo Dashcam Pro 2.7K Dual
My usage:
- Daily city driving in Mumbai (traffic + tight parking)
- Need reliable footage for safety/insurance purposes
- Not too concerned about “4K”, but want clear number plates (especially at night)
- Prefer something stable long-term with minimal issues
Questions:
Is the 70mai worth the extra money over Qubo?
How’s real-world night performance (number plate readability)?
Any heating or reliability issues with either in Indian conditions?
App experience – is Qubo really that bad compared to 70mai?
Any long-term users who faced issues after 1+ year?
Also open to other suggestions in the same price range if I’m missing something.
