I spent a month replaying XAUUSD on Candlune and logged 104 paper trades — here’s what the progress looked like

I wanted to share a case-study style update from Candlune.

I spent the last month using the platform to replay XAUUSD sessions, place paper trades, and review performance after each session.

April stats:

  • 104 trades
  • 18 winning days
  • 3 losing days
  • +$6,984.17 simulated P&L

Overall progression on the account is now sitting around +$11,423.52 in replay/paper results.

A few interesting things stand out to me:

  • the consistency improved
  • losing days stayed limited
  • the practice was actually measurable instead of just “scrolling back on charts”
  • reviewing daily/weekly stats made it easier to see whether progress was real

To be clear, this is paper trading/replay performance, not live trading results.

That’s the whole reason I joined Candlune in the first place:
most traders “practise” with hindsight, but very few have a structured environment where they can replay the market candle by candle, take trades, and review actual performance.

I’d genuinely like feedback:

Am I ready for the markets?
