George III was just a play for Klein to strengthen his humanity, made by Adam so that Klein would have a better chance against the LotM.

First clue, the Unshadowed Crucifix. This was the first time Grisha met Klein, and he knew the Crucifix was the main culprit. So when the time came, he gave it to Fors and Xio, allowing Klein to learn about George III's plan and Derrick to obtain the Sequence 4 characteristic.

Second clue, he didn't try to defend George III.

Third clue, I think he let Klein summon 0-08 because we saw that he could stop the summoned 0-08 from functioning in the Hall of Truth. So he let Klein and Tracy create the perfect environment to assassinate George III.

Fourth clue, Adessak and Tracy. Tracy was the vessel of the PD, and by forcing them into love, Adam created a vengeful god-like threat against George III. Adessak was an open-minded prince, a good friend, and a good person. He was someone who could overlook the genderbend and ease the biggest vulnerability of Demonesses. So Tracy lost the only person who could love her/him, and that loss led her to sacrifice herself.
