u/FSE_Question

Hey everyone,

Recently got offered a job with a biotech company in NYC. They specify NJ as the housing region mostly due to salary since almost all of my accounts will be located in NYC metro area.

My question is regarding salary, I've been offered 45$/hr with a generous relocation package. This will be my first FSE position although I do have experience with the instrument. Is this low for the NYC area? I don't want to seem ungrateful for the opportunity but wanted to check with other FSE and get there point of view.
