I'm just getting into Warhammer and my kids (9 & 6) are very interested as well. They love painting the figures from the starter set. As we've tried playing a few games, I'm wishing I had got them the Kill Team starter set instead. I bought a Salvagers box and am working through that for myself.

Question: Would a 9yr old be able to play with the Kill Team Lite rules? I'm fine pruning and making house rules, we already do that for other things.
