I was flying in the LAS airspace recently in a bugsmasher on flight following so heard a bunch of traffic given that arrival. Semi-historical question for the local ATC folks. Does anyone know how two successive waypoints got named JAIDE and LEEEW? My initial guess was that someone was a poker fan and named them for notorious amateur player Robbie Jade Lew. (Notorious for a crazy high stakes hand that involved accusation of cheating, and who now has the hand J4o named after her.) But a little spelunking says that the arrival dates back to early 2021 and records go back to 2020, before she became well known.
I'm a fan of fun local color waypoints, like the Peanuts ones for STS and the Grateful Dead and Santana ones for SFO, so I'm curious about the history.
