Both of my cats recently got a burn like wound while there are no fire sources in my house

Like 2 months ago my older cat Ella, who's ~2 year old by now, out of nowhere got some sort of patch of missing fur at the front of her front right leg. In the middle of that patch is a red-ish pink burn like wound. I immediately noticed since Ella's skin is gray and instantly got concerned. The wound didn't worsen, nor did it get inflamed, it stayed the same till the moment of me writing this.

Today, I've noticed that my younger cat Beta who's ~1 year old has gotten a similar type of wound. However, this time on her claw, it looks pretty much identical to Ella's having missing fur and a burn like red-ish pink patch.

I don't think they're feeling pain from this as they seem to be walking and behaving normally: I still see them running and jumping around as well as playfighting with one another like they usually. I also noticed that they like to clean the injured area which I don't think is what they should do so it doesn't get infected, but I'm not an expert. I'm really concerned that they will be left with a permanent injury and their fur will never grow back. What should I do?

I'm also uncertain if they actually got burnt as there are no active fire sources that I know of in my house since all our appliances run on electricity instead of gas.

Some more information about my cats:
* Age: Ella is about 2 years old; Beta is about 1 year old.
* Sex/Neuter status: Both of my cats are females, however Beta isn't neutered yet.
* Breed: Ella is tabby and I'm uncertain about Beta but she is white and has black spots.
