I’m seeing more Tunisian non-religious creators posting on Instagram lately, and honestly, I’m so happy to see it. Even when they don’t say it directly, you can feel it in the way they speak, the messages behind their videos, their captions, and the way they push back against the extremist wave growing on Tunisian social media lately.
In a space where individuality, critical thinking, freedom of expression, and simply existing differently can get you attacked, seeing people speak openly and unapologetically feels refreshing and important.
