The devs clearly just wanted to roleplay being a vampire, build sick castles and beat a ton of bosses so they made a game just about that. There’s essentially no story which is a bit disappointing but the gameplay is phenomenal. It’s an addicting game with what the castle building allows you to do and I couldn’t wait to level up and defeat the next boss. The camera is annoying until you get used to it but even then it’s not great. Also, the back and forth required for your resources in your castle gets old quick. However, the atmosphere in this game is impeccable and the NPC fight interactions with each other are top-tier. This game felt alive to me which indicates a truly well-made game.
