Just finished up a unit of Germanic Berserkers. Kit bashed from the Victrix Germanics and Gallic fanatics. I used more of a simple recipe for the skin just because I was feeling too lazy to do the three tone skin I normally do but it actually dosent look half bad! and of course no lack of severed heads.
Just finished up some Dismounted Marcomanni Nobles for my Germanic army. Definitely a little historically inaccurate with the amount of armor and the draco standard being I am using these for late 2nd century time period but I wanted them to visually look distinct from the bulk of the army which is light infantry warband so the full chainmail suit gets the point across that they are different and heavy infantry. They are a mix of the armored early Saxons, Gauls and Germanics sets by Victrix and the standard is from the WA Goths sets. These were a lot of fun to paint! Also making them look a little later in time period allows me to also use them as Alemanni and some crisis of the third century type stuff as well.
