Im hoping for a bit of advice or info if anyone else is having the same issues.
I accidentally updated my game two days ago and since I havent been able to open my game with my cc ( excluding mods ). I keep getting the following message;
Unable to start:
Cannot start because game data is missing or damaged.

I originally assumed this was due to outdated mods, so I updated them and the game opens with them. The issue seems to be with the cc. Ive tried doing the 50/50 method but theres so many broken files thats its a nightmare trying to do it.
Ive tried using Sims Mod Mangager and Sims 4 Tray Importer and I have gone through both and deleted any listed broken cc and any duplicate files.
Ive tried repairing the game, uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Ive even redownloaded most of my cc in hopes it would fix it but it hasnt.
Anyone else ever experienced this? Is there anything else I should try?
