I had a dirt-looking stain on my light beige carpet for years. I tried carpet cleaner solutions, resolve and similar carpet spot removers, baking soda and peroxide, dish soap, etc without any luck.

I tried a strong solution of Ariel Oxy powder and Biz dissolved into really hot water, scrubbing it into the stain and adding more hot water on the blue area of the applied solution as it cooled off. I rinsed it off and vacuumed up the water with my carpet cleaning machine.

This removed the stain when nothing else would.

Hopefully, this can help someone else who is trying resolve spray without any success on the carpet. And test a small, hidden area first for colorfastness...
