Hey gang.
I'm driving from Elkhart, Indiana to Salt Lake City, Utah. I'll be taking Interstate 80 for some of it but I'd like to explore some rural routes through townships along the way. I haven't been anywhere between the suburbs of Chicago and the Denver airport before.
Can anyone suggest any particular interesting east-west rural routes that I should take passing through these waypoints without getting too far off-track? I have about 5 days for this trip.
