Anyone ever changed the am/fm antenna base on a 2018 Sierra or know where the firewall hole leads into the cab?
Long story short, I'm changing my antenna base (which unfortunately includes the wire that runs under the hood, through the firewall, into the cab and connects to the radio under the dash cowl). I originally planned to tape the new base to the old one and pull it through, but the tape came undone at the firewall. I've been trying to feed the new base wire back into the cab through the small firewall hole but can't find where the cord is ending up. This video on YouTube around 8:30 shows it landing on the passenger kick panel but mine isn't and I'm assuming it's stuck behind the HVAC system or in some cavity. Any advice would be appreciated and I included some pictures below of the wiring and inside of the passenger dash.
Inside the hood on passenger side. Black smooth wire in the middle is antenna wiring.
