1 year ago I injured a disc in my low back and I was able to rehab and be pain free in about a month. After that month I was left with a new pain in the area I circled that has gotten worse up to this day. Pain gets much worse with walking/standing too much. When I contract/squeeze the muscles in the area I can feel the pain go up . When it gets really irritated even pressing the area hurts, bending forward hurts , breathing deep hurts. Spine specialists have ruled out the discs/sciatic nerve as a cause and orthopedics ruled out hip pathology. Right now they think pain is either SI joint or QL/lumbar muscles. I’ve read about the QL muscle having chronic trigger points that can refer pain to the SI area and was wondering if anyone has had anything similar to this? All and any opinions or thoughts are appreciated thank you.
