I’m starting a fencing company in Knoxville, TN and was hoping to get some insight. I’ve done multiple jobs for myself, neighbors and friends, so I have 8 fences under my belt.
If you own a business, please let me know of any tips you think would be helpful as I start out. Are there tools that would be helpful, but not needed? I have a good array of battery powered tools currently, but what are some things I might not be thinking about? What do you think is a good software to use for a CRM or quoting option? What tips do you have in general?
If you don’t own a business, please let me know of anything you’d be looking for in a fencing company. Did you use one? If you didn’t, what was the reason for doing it yourself? Are there things you wish you’d done differently on your build? Etc.
I do really solid work and eventually want to get away from my day job if possible.
