Had an infusion three weeks ago for what I thought was Stelara but turns out it was Wezenla.

Has anyone any experiences on this biosimilar?

I've had to be put on prednisol suppositories due to symptoms creeping back since the infusion (perianal crohns with ulcers and possible fistula and quite bad external haemmorroids), and I've experienced the worst stiffness and pain in my neck and upper back for two weeks now which is never something I've experienced before.

First injection after of the Wezenla isn't until 12th June. Really appreciate any advice or experience people can share.

I received my first Stelara infusion almost three weeks ago after being off ant medication for 5 months and being in the worst flare I've experienced with this disease to date.

Since the infusion, I am noticing the most horrible stiffness and associated pain that I've never experienced before. I usually have no problems with pain or flexibility in that sort of way, but I can't even barely move my chin toward my chest without feeling very restricted and tonnes of pain.

Another thing I've noticed is that my muscles (I think) feel strange? I've noticed if I'm sitting in a particular way or if I squat down, I feel this feeling like something is seperating in the back of my thighs and same in my buttocks. It specifically feels like the muscle area and it's a weird seperating, doughy feeling?

Both these things are specifically since starting the Stelara three weeks ago, I've been feeling these symptoms gradually get worse. I have perianal crohns and those symptoms are seemingly not improving either, unfortunately.

Has anyone any experience with intense stiffness/strange muscle sensations on Stelara?
