I did a screen and a housing replacement on it so it’s currently near-mint state.

And jailbroke it aswell ofc and when i tried connecting it to our Wi-Fi, it wont even though the passwords are correct, also occuring on my iPhone 11’s hotspot even with Maximize Compatibility on. Yes i know its because it needs to be WPA2 and that our Wi-Fi is WPA3.

But could there be other ways or alternatives? just incase though. I am also gonna get this iPhone 5 hopefully carrier locked from Globe.

As of now admire the near-mint state of the phone (put it on a clear jelly case after and gave it a clean before putting it there and yes that screen is used so it already has a screen protector with a small hairline crack.)

Days ago i posted about the listing for a $16 iPhone 5 on 6.1.3. Now here it is, although not in the best condition with some scratches and dents so i will replace the housing and the failing aftermarket(?) screen soon.

however i opened it because i was gonna address the broken home button and as soon as i saw the missing bottom pentalobe screws i already knew it was a red flag and i was right.

The seller also said they got the battery replaced (which left an imprint on the display shield or its the old battery) which is why its like this.

so i eventually fixed the broken home button and it turns out theres no rubber gasket on the home button so i added one from my spare parts bin and also the missing Display assembly and Battery and dock brackets, and also added the missing plastic pull tab and cleaned the internals leaving behind no fingerprints from the guy that was in here before me for that extra unopened feel. the device’s water damage indicator was also triggered a bit hence why its a light pastel pinkish coral-like color

I saved blobs afterwards and will now jailbreak and then dump the .IPA files of all apps thats in here lol

I found this on Facebook marketplace yesterday and as of now the listing was taken down (so i used the listing photos since the seller sent me the images) because i asked the seller if it was still available (yes it is). It was listed for ₱1000 PHP ($16 USD estimated) and was running iOS 6 and i still haven’t asked it’s exact version of iOS 6 and storage capacity so i will update in the comments. And earlier we had talks regarding it and obviously it includes the moment where i say to the seller to NOT update it with my reason being the fact that iOS 8 has activation issues and the seller followed my instructions to not update the device (i hope it didn’t actually update when i aint looking ;-;). So incase the seller updates this i wont buy it. Although theres some visible scratches i wont mind since i will do repair on this eventually.

Apple eventually released the White finish for the iPhone 4 almost a year later due to things like proximity sensor issues, camera flash issues, etc. Eventually they did release the color but at that point not many people want it anymore since it took so long, therefore demand was less compared to when it was ori announced in June 2010.

Now here’s my 32gb almost pristine White iPhone 4 (have to take it out of it’s case carefully without getting it dirty because i hate it when i gets dirty and have to clean the entire phone again lol and i might replace it’s heavily scratched matte screen protector soon) to honor it’s 15th day lol and still running it’s original 4.3.2 firmware
