Hey guys,
I have been in the restaurant business for several years. My restaurant has more old customers than new ones, but recently my neigh-boring restaurants have more new customers than mine. I was a little surprised to learn about their business model. I learned that they are using Google reviews to artificially increase their customers. How much does it do for business? As far as I know, it is completely unethical.
I would like to know the following:
• Did you really see your map ranking increase after buying reviews?
• Did the profiles look like real people, or were they clearly fake accounts?
• Did the ratings last, or were they removed after a few weeks?
I am trying to decide if buying Google reviews would be a good decision. If you have any suggestions or know of a safe place to find them, please let me know. Any advice would be appreciated.
