One of the panel members told us to put the names of the interviewee of our thesis and we told the people who we interviewed that this interview is confidential. Should I put their names onto our thesis ? And if no, what should I reason out for it?

ps. I'll tell the panel member that the data of the interviewee is confidential and nothing will be coming out even their names. ( is okay?)
