I’m a current highschool student who has partially done my associates at a CC. I’ll be completing my associates along with the a paralegal program next year and I’m overall a good student at high school. I’m a honors student with a few rigorous classes. But during my time at CC I’ve acquired a B, C, and D. The D was for a summer class that I was unable to take the final exam for despite being ill (severely, I was diagnosed with a severe illness). The C (I’m trying to make it remain a C) has happened for similar reasons (I guess got unlucky with a few professors). Naturally, my gpa has taken a hit but I think I should be able to get it up with all As in my next few class + I’ve made sure to pick out my professors extremely carefully. However, for selective universities is this acceptable? What’s the likelihood of me still getting in? What do you guys suggest to do to ensure a place at a good selective school (extracurriculars, etc)? I have pretty big plans for extracurriculars for this following summer and next year as well, and I have a few
niche extracurriculars that I’ve built my experience and status in (vice president in one of them). Anyways, what are people’s overall advice?

I’m a current highschool senior who will be soon enrolling into an ABA approved paralegal program at a CC, but I want to make sure that my resume will also allow for job opportunities to come easier.

Unfortunately, being a minor, legal related jobs are harder to acquire, so I wanted to ask anybody well into this field or in a similar situation as me for advice. What are places I could either work or volunteer for that’ll help me build my resume?
