Chicago area. Someone asked me to help remove Garden Star-of-Bethlehem from their garden bed. It is widespread and basically fills the whole garden. The soil is fairly loose and sandy. I feel like a garden fork with 1-inch spaces between tines would be an ideal tool, because the bulbs are so small. I just can’t seem to find one with such narrow spacing. Does anyone have other suggestions for a good tool or method for removing thousands of these little bulbs?
