As the title says, I'll be spending about a month in Japan in the summer. I plan on bringing a backpack and a checked bag with my carry-on inside until I need the suitcase room, at that point I will take it out.

I plan on doing a good amount of shopping, hence the check in bag, if it wasn't for that I wouldn't bring it.

How realistic is it to stay in a capsule hotel or hostels for most of that? I'm planning on mostly staying in them and maybe every couple of days get a room for a night in case of needing to catch up on sleep or just want privacy.

Is it realistic to just book the first couple of nights then just doing the rest as I go?

I've been to Japan before and have spent 3-4 days in a capsule hostel in Taiwan last year.

I feel confident that it's sustainable since I'll be out for most of the day and will be exhausted every night, but would love to hear about other's experiences. I sleep pretty well as long as I have ear plugs and I prefer harder mattresses. And I'm decently young (22).

My main concerns are just fatigue after awhile and being able to store all of my bags.

I'll be bringing my laptop with me so there is a concern with being able to lock it up when I'm out and about.

As the title says. I have my final on Monday and I'm having a really difficult time understanding the material. I've been to office hours and such but it's quite limited in terms of how much it helps. If anyone has taken this class has a time to help me understand the concepts or any resources that may help that would be really appreciated. Thanks.

I graduate this spring and have a job lined up. I'll be moving back in with my folks for the foreseeable future (1-3 years probably) and fortunately have very little student loans (10k>). I'm making about 90k pre-tax and will be in southern California.

How much should I aim to save to be able to buy a mazda3 in cash? I'm fortunate that I have a car that I'll be able to use for a couple months but it's not a long term solution (borrowing the family car while sibling is home for the summer). Generally I'll have very minimal monthly expenses so realistically I should be able to stack some cash for a couple months to add to what I've already saved. I just want a target number.

I've been looking at the Mazda3 Hatchback, but I'm unsure what additions I'd like so if anyone has any feedback on what features are worth it and which aren't that would be much appreciated! I'd like AWD since I hope to do roadtrips and I enjoy snowboarding, but also this may not be completely necessary. Thanks!
