This might be a silly question...but I have never used gators and i am going to alaska and they recommend calk-high rain boots. I have boots that hit just above the ankle. instead of buying another pair of boots, can i use gators over my existing boots? will it generally service the same purpose??? is there another work-around you would recommend?? thanks!!
