How long does it actually take your shop to cost a CNC part? (we timed ours)

Genuine question — what's your current RFQ quoting process look like?

For most shops we've talked to, it's something like: ping the CAM programmer, export a file, open Excel, manually enter material + setup + machining rates, sanity check it, send. Somewhere between 30 and 45 minutes per part.

That adds up fast. 10 quotes a day = 5+ hours of non-billable back-office work.

We've been building a solution: upload a CAD file, get the full breakdown in under 10 seconds. We're doing a free live demo on May 13 at 4 PM IST to show it working on real parts.

Would love to hear how others are handling this in the comments — always trying to understand real workflows.
